Belly dancing - Solo Performances

And for something entirely different ...!  I have been belly dancing, as a hobby, for nearly 20 years.  However, I have been performing - both solo and as part of a group - for over 10 years.  The art of belly dancing is ancient and can incorporate both traditional and a more modern twist in music and props that include sword, Isis wings, cane, shamadan (a candelabra that is balanced on the head).  If you wish to make enquiries about a possible mini performance, please email.

My most recent performance: veil at Summer Spectacular 2025.  I was part of a group, called Sapphires of the Orient, dancing with veil.  The previous week, I did a solo at the opening of Datchet Fete as well as two group dances with Shimmies & Sparkles.

I was one of three finalists in Wraysbury's Got Talent in 2022!  This is using fan veils - one of my favourite props.

My Finale at Wraysbury's Got Talent 2022.  Dancing with LED Isis wings - the audience's reaction was an incredible one of awe!

An unusual prop - yes, a real traditional sword!  Need to be very careful that it balances in exactly the right spot of my head, hip or arms!

Fan Veils - another of my favourite props.
